MH&A Managing Partner Dr. Gary J. Margolis will give a keynote address on emerging trends in campus safety and higher education emergency management at the annual conference of the Kentucky Auxiliary Services Association (KASA) on Friday, May 21, 2010 in Georgetown, KY. KASA is the professional association of university and college auxiliary services for institutions of higher education in the State of Kentucky (http://www.kasaky.org/).
The United States Secret Service, the US Department of Education, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation jointly released its report on targeted violence at institutions of higher education. Entitled “Campus Attacks: Targeted Violence Affecting Institutions of Higher Education,” the report is the result of a collaborative effort between the three departments to understand the nature of violence affecting colleges and universities and identify ways to prevent future incidents. MH&A Managing Partner Steven J. Healy served as an advisor for this important project.
