Margolis, Healy & Associates is available to consult with institutional leadership and public safety officials during the immediate aftermath and recovery phases of critical incidents affecting the campus community.  MH&A understands the unique needs of universities and colleges as they meet the challenges of responding to, and recovering from, a tragedy. Dr. Margolis, Mr. Healy and their team have personally been involved with scores of critical incidents and related recovery efforts ranging from natural disasters to homicides, and intimately understand a campuses’ needs from several perspectives:

* Providing support to community members directly affected by the event, including witnesses, by-standers, and public safety first responders

* Supporting family members touched by the tragedy

* Working effectively with the media

* Liaising with city/county/state and federal law enforcement

* Conducting due diligence sessions with institution legal counsel

* Facilitating after-action reviews

MH&A provides counseling and real time support to institutional leadership, public safety, and Emergency Operations Center operations.  We understand the pressure institution’s face during critical incidents, and provide the support to alleviate some of that stress.
