Dr. Margolis will facilitate a workshop and tabletop exercise on emergency response and recovery planning for the President, Cabinet, and Crisis Response Team at the College of Charleston.

Dr. Margolis will be a featured speaker at the Florida Association of Community Colleges annual conference. He will be speaking on the importance of emergency planning at community colleges and how such planning is tailored to the unique needs of commuter campuses.

Dr. Margolis will be a featured speaker at the National Association of College & University Attorney's (NACUA) Annual Conference in New York City. He will be participating on a panel discussion titled Crisis on Campus: What to do... Before the Next One. The panel is moderated by Jeff Chasen, President & COO, The AGOS Group, LLC and includes Barbara Geffen, Managing Director, CampusCURES; Oren Griffin, Visiting Associate Professor, Mercer University; and David Williams, Vice Chancellor, University Affairs & General Counsel, Vanderbilt University.
