Oliver J. Clark - Associate
Oliver “O.J.” Clark has over 37 years of law enforcement/security experience and holds a Masters degree in Law Enforcement and Administration from Western Illinois University. Mr. Clark works with the Louisiana State University in the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training/Academy for Counter-Terrorism (NCBRT/ACE) in the Instructor Development Unit providing training and assessments for NCBRT instructors. Mr. Clark also serves as the Domestic Preparedness Project Coordinator for the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Executives (IACLEA). He was previously employed as Chief of Police and Executive Director of Public Safety at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has served as the Chief of Police at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts; and Director of Security at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. Mr. Clark gained 20 years of experience in municipal law enforcement and administration having served in capacities as patrol officer, juvenile officer, community relations officer, and field sergeant with duties focused on investigation, supervision, and management. His association with municipal policing, university policing, and security has resulted in his exceptionally strong background in the all aspects of administration and management of policing and security. Mr. Clark is an active member of numerous professional associations such as the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) where he served as president and recipient of the “Presidents Award” which was presented in 2006. He was also involved with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and has served as the chair of the College and University Police Chiefs Section. In addition, he is active in the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) and has served as President of the Land of Lincoln Chapter of Illinois.
